Skip Around Europe

Thank you so much to Active Schools for the beautiful resources which arrived in our school this week just in time for our Skip Around Europe challenge. We received a set of skipping ropes and this poster of Europe. Every day we decide on our destination - which is a European capital city. One skip equals one kilometre. As a school we try to reach the target distance together. This week we have skipped to London, Lisbon and Vilinus.

One pupil brings out the calculator and adds all the totals together. So we are learning about Geography, Maths and PE!

The pupils got to take home the old skipping ropes so that they can practise at home! Happy skipping!
