Paddy Madden 'Heritage in School' visit

Last Thursday, 14th December, we were delighted to have a visit from Paddy Madden, a heritage in schools expert. Throughout the day Paddy told us lots of stories and showed us lots of interesting displays about nature.

Paddy showed us the different buds from various trees.

Paddy showed us a wasp's nest! We got to hold some paper that wasps had made!

We learned about the different categories of living things.

We got an opportunity to look at centipedes and millipedes in the viewfinders.

Paddy taught us about dinosaurs and showed us some real fossils!
