Thank you to Criodán from Midlands Science who guided us through Ferbane Bog this morning. Criodán gave all the pupils a notebook to record all their observations. He showed them how to use swatches to distinguish the various trees, butterflies and dragon flies. The most exciting part was when he showed us how the drone worked. He sent the drone up into the sky and it took photographs of us! Thank you to Midlands Science for this lovely opportunity!

A photograph captured by drone. You can just about see us on the boardwalk in the middle of the bog!
